One of the main problems of modern civilization is the problem of the resources saving technologies. The COLO system is a resources saving computer system which uses the modern technologies of the image recognition. The main one is that the system reacts to the face absence in front of the computer monitor. There is a turning the monitor off while there's no face for a long time. And at the same time the COLO system turns the monitor on automatically when the user appears. As the result of it the electricity consumption is lowered and the more durable working of the monitor is observed.

system work peculiarities

The COLO system works as a background task of Windows and uses the computer resources. This system does not prevent working when Pentium- 150 with MB 32 RAM system is used. If COLO prevents working you may change its priority.

The Menu and the Toolbar serve for the COLO's working. You may choose one of the three working regimes, reduce the COLO window in Tray and also install the parameters of the system's working.

the technical requirements

• Pentium computer, working under the control of Windows-9x;
• The image input device with the Video for Windows driver.

For the second one the digital videocamera may serve, connected to the LPT or USB port, or the usual videocamera with the videoinput adapter. The main requirement is the presence of the Video for Windows driver for the digital camera or videoinput adapter.
